At the One AA Rosette Refectory Kitchen & Terrace, we celebrate the best ingredients from York and the surrounding countryside.
Choose from dishes such as Yorkshire pork belly with soy and lemongrass jus, Doreen’s black pudding tempura and spiced apple purée; Yorkshire Terrier ale-battered haddock with garden peas, tartare sauce and chunky chips; and R&J Butchers steaks. Inventive dishes showcasing seasonal vegetables include Roasted heritage carrot salad with pickled carrot and ginger purée, and Fried tofu and butternut squash curry with coriander quinoa. While puddings are classic and comforting, from Pear and almond tart with burnt Valrhona chocolate and mascarpone to Dark chocolate and salted caramel mousse with blood orange sorbet and caramel crisps.
Just next to York Station, guests can choose to dine in the modern, light-flooded dining room or on the outdoor terrace. The restaurant has also received the AA Breakfast Award.
