Principal Hotels picks up prestigious awards

All four of Principal’s Scottish hotels have been recognised at the 2018 Scottish Hotel Awards.

The iconic four-star Principal Grand Central Hotel were awarded two People of Excellence awards with Wendy Johnston scooping Event Individual of the Year and Lynne Doyle taking home Housekeeper of the Year.

Lauren Mcavoy from the stunning Principal Blythswood Square Hotel won Pastry Chef of the Year, while Reception Supervisor Courtney Early won Rising Star.

Gavin Stirling and Alex Jones from The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square won Concierge of the Year and Maintenance Manager of the year. Whilst Andreas Maszczyk and Oskar Gilchrist-Grodnicki were awarded a highly commended for General Manager of the Year and Wedding Planner of the Year.

Blythswood Square was also awarded a highly commended for City Hotel and Business Hotel of the Year.
