Principal Hotel Company relocates central reservations to UK

Principal Hotel Company, a collection of 35 properties throughout the UK under the PRINCIPAL and De Vere brands, today announced a number of changes to its central reservations service, including relocating the function to the UK from the US and switching to a standard rate telephone number.

The move is part of the company’s commitment to delivering a seamless customer experience and supports the company’s £multi-million programme of refurbishment and investment, which is ongoing across the portfolio.

Calls to the central reservation line are now fulfilled by UK-based call handlers with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Principal Hotel Company’s portfolio of hotels and venues. Also, the company has invested heavily in state-of-the-art technology to support the move, whilst enhancing the customer booking experience overall. One of the new features includes Webchat which provides an additional convenient route for customers to contact the team.

The team is based out of De Vere Staverton Estate and works alongside the existing Central Conferences booking team, allowing for a comprehensive, flexible and knowledgeable service for customers.
