Conferences, meetings & events

We do great events and conferences at Principal and have been for a while.

Trading started at The Principal Edinburgh in 1840 when The Caledonian Insurance Company turned one of the five original Georgian townhouses into an office; The terracotta Grade II listed building of The Principal Manchester, first opened its doors as The Refuge Assurance Company headquarters in 1890 whilst The Principal York was built in 1878 and was the North Eastern Railway Company's flagship hotel during a golden age of railway travel and business.

Today, these architectural surroundings have been enhanced to accommodate all modern business requirements with intuitive, smart technology, high-speed Wi-Fi, flexible meeting spaces, nutritious food for well-being and a great team of people behind you.

The Principal London
