Experience London

London is the most cosmopolitan city in the world: more languages are spoken in London than in New York, and you can dine in restaurants that specialise in food from more than 100 countries.

With over 2,000 years of history running through the city, London has a wealth of architecture to see and fascinating places to visit, from The Tower of London (crowning monarchs and beheading traitors for 1,000 years) to the Tate Modern (showcasing contemporary art in a former power station).

No area of the city is the same – its vibrant, modern neighbourhoods all have their own personalities. Bloomsbury has traditionally been the home of the British publishing industry and has been home to The Kimpton Fitzroy London since 1898, when it first opened as The Hotel Russell. Venture south of the river to Borough, for the foodie mecca that is Borough Market, as well as a burgeoning craft brewing scene. Head east to Shoreditch where you can lose yourself in vintage markets and independent galleries; further east sits London Fields, where you’d barely think you were in a city at all…
