An inspiring Central London venue
On the north-side of Holborn, next to Chancery Lane underground station and close to Covent Garden, you’ll find De Vere Holborn Bars, a leading central London event venue for conferences, meetings, training and teambuilding.
With a history dating back to the early 1870s, when it was commissioned by the Prudential Insurance Company, this striking Grade II* listed red brick building has long been involved in trading and business in the city.
Winning the bronze award for Best Historic Venue at the 2018 National Venue Awards, the façade of the building features arched windows and fine architectural detailing, all designed in Gothic Revival style, with art-deco elements added in the 1930s.
Today, the venue is currently undergoing a refurbishment to refresh the meeting spaces and open a new signature coffee shop, Burr & Co.
Inside, you’ll find 40 event spaces with a mix of fresh contemporary style and traditional rooms where dramatic columns, ornate ceilings, wood panelling and grand fireplaces create a memorable backdrop for all events.
Next door to Chancery Lane tube station on the central line and with two direct bus routes into Waterloo Station, the venue is well – connected for all major transport links. London City airport is just over 8 miles away whilst Heathrow Airport is just over an hour away by road.
Free, superfast Wi-Fi with a maximum bandwidth of 1Gb is available throughout the venue.
