Wheathampstead Heritage Trails

The Wheathampstead Heritage Trails bring together the beautiful countryside of Hertfordshire with some fascinating local history including a Celtic settlement, a lady highwayman, polar exploration and a disused railway platform that’s been renovated.

Several small walks all start at the free parking in the centre of Wheathampstead village and each pass at least one place where food and drinks can be found. Downloadable maps and information on the walks can be obtained from the Wheathampstead Heritage website and printed copies of these guides are available from the Parish Council Office, the village library, and several shops.
